Disclaimer, Explanation of Content, and Intention
The content contained herein was conceptualized by myself, with a range of philosophical, psychological, scientific, and experiential factors contributing to the development of said articulations. While I acknowledge the factors and contributors who have paved the way before me as truly invaluable assets in determining my state of mind at the time of writing these essays, many do slip away from conscious recognition, and for these sources which inspired me, I owe a huge debt of gratitude. Given the work our forefathers have put in into the philosophical, religious, and scientific traditions, we own it to humanity to do our part in paying off this debt, and attempting to make the world a better place. While I owe a great deal of appreciation for those who have built the staircase to greater heights of truth revelation, the way to our current knowledge and value structure, and I respect the influences which have shaped the way I conceptualize ideas, I take full responsibility for creation of the content within this domain, and make the claim that, although my current Being is the production of innumerable factors, the content and conceptualizations contained on this website are purely the creation of my consciousness.
In regards to the content of my writing, my main purpose is to Seek the Truth. While this itself is a tricky concept to nail down, essays within will contain a more detailed explanation of what this truly is. My main interest is in philosophy, with a specified interest in phenomenology, consciousness, morality, psychology, and religion – specifically Buddhism. In addition, I seek to rectify claims through an evolutionary biology lens and include a good deal of psychology within any philosophical piece. The goal in writing these pieces was to increase my understanding of the world, through novel and useful conceptualizations, that is, in symbolic linguistic form, to be of an aide in my own development. Apart from attempting to understand the truth of human nature, and the mind itself, these endeavors have been pursued with an eye to practicality, in how conceptualizations can aid us in practical ways, as in how we think of ourselves, how our Being is constituted in the world, how we act and think in the world, in addition to how I believe we ought to think about these things. The pragmatic use of knowledge in order to improve my individual life, and what a “better life” consists of, is the main goal of my philosophy. I’m not necessarily seeking the truth for truths sake, as appealing as that may sound, I reckon it’s truly naive and self-deceptive to claim to do so, the main intent is to expand the mind with an intention of living a better life, of achieving our potential, in becoming who we are capable of becoming. I’m really seeking to explore a method of how we can experience a greater slice of life, in quantity of experience, as well as quality of more wholesome and conducive experience in an altogether flourishing, or wholesome life. In aligning ourselves with the aim of uncovering the truth, we become better able to cope with the world we live in, and to navigate the landscape of complex life which we all must do so, in one way or another. While certain methods produce better or worse experiences, within the present moment, my goal here, through this Inner Expansion, is to uncover ever improving methods of dealing with life, in an honest and cohesive method, in which I believe better conceptualizations of reality can aide us (truth seeking).
I figured since the process of developing these novel ideas has been extremely useful and meaningful to me, not only in their creation through intuition and rational contemplation, but likewise through the reminder and inspiration the words give me through reading them, it may be useful and beneficial to others, and for that purpose, I created this website.
